Frames and roof trusses

The frames and roof trusses were completed this week. All the windows and sliding doors were also completed.

Frames!

The frames started to go up yesterday even in the rain. Luckily it has cleared up a lot today so I had a chance to go out and have a look. We have windows too! So exciting 

More slab photos!

We've been slabbed!!

So yesterday our ss and our lovely neighbours let us know that our slab has been completed but by the time I got home from work it was too dark to go out and take pictures. So today with the miserable rain I went out and had a look and took some photos.

We went out on the weekend to look at the formwork and found that we can no longer go onto our land because it has been locked up

So I just took some photos through the fence of the completed formwork and waffle pods!

What a week!

We have more action this week. On Monday our SS called and introduced himself to us. We are excited to have him as we have heard only good things about him.

Then on Wednesday our neighbour told us that the piering and plumbing has been completed but we have been unable to go out and have a look.

Today, it looks like they are doing the waffle pods and we should get a slab very soon!!

Formwork Begins

Our lovely neighbours messaged on Friday to let us know that the formwork for our house was being done on Friday but we couldn't get out there until Saturday morning to check it out and take some photos.

 

Such a shame that it then rained all day Saturday and Sunday so hopefully it dries out enough for piering and slab soon
